Photographer: Summer Moon Scriver
For over fifteen years, I've been exploring photography as a creative way to frame wordless moments in landscapes of our natural environment as well as "landscapes" of the human body and spirit. I have always been drawn to and intrigued by the splendor of nature, which of course includes us humans. My photography has been strongly influenced by growing up on a beautiful island as well as by my travels.
In photographing people, I challenge myself to tell their stories and to capture them with a distinct perspective. Art photography is my true passion, but I also find much joy in creating artistic images for a wide array of purposes such as CD covers, sports events, high school proms, product images, web sites, and much more. I am also honored to be a trusted wedding photographer.
For Hands at Work, I feel fortunate to be able to tell the visual stories of these hands, all with their own powerful stories to convey. In these close-up portraits, the magic of the black-and-white photography provides both a richness and simplicity. I currently am using a Nikon D200 digital camera, and all my prints are archivally printed and matted.
I am very thankful for this opportunity to witness the hands of these beautiful people and to share these compelling images with you. Contact Summer firstname.lastname@example.org
